About Spelling Printables
Everything spelling in one place. Master tricky words letter by letter. Every word puzzle below is built from the same set of spelling words - capitalize, rhyme and prefix among them - so a child meets the same vocabulary in five different ways instead of once.
Pick by what you need rather than by name: mazes for a pre-reader, word searches for quiet focus, crosswords when you want real vocabulary work, bingo when there's a group to entertain. All of it prints free at three difficulty levels with answer keys, so siblings at different ages can work on the same theme side by side.

What free spelling printables can I download?
There are 18 free spelling sheets: mazes, word search, crossword, word scramble, bingo, cryptogram. Each comes in easy, medium and hard, and every puzzle prints with its answer key. No account and no email are needed.
What age are the spelling activities for?
Ages 4 to 12. Easy suits roughly 4 to 6, medium 7 to 9, and hard 10 and up, though reading confidence matters more than birthday. Start one level below where you think a child sits - a puzzle finished with room to spare gets done again.
What words do the spelling puzzles use?
Every word puzzle on the theme draws on one list of 20 words, so a word met in the word search turns up again in the crossword. It includes Alphabet, Vowel, Consonant, Syllable and Prefix. Every word has a short clue, listed with it on the word search and bingo pages.
Can I use these spelling printables in a classroom?
Yes. Print as many copies as your class needs - that is what they are for. Selling them, or anything else you make on PuzzlePages, needs a Studio plan with the commercial license.
