Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PuzzlePages (“PuzzlePages,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use puzzlepages.co, our custom puzzle generator, and our coloring page maker (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile. You can browse and print the free library without an account.
• Content you provide. When you create a custom pack, we process the topic, word list, or first name you enter in order to generate your printable. When you make a coloring page, we process the description you type. A child’s first name entered to personalize a puzzle or a coloring page is used only to produce that printable.
• Saved packs. If you are signed in, we store the packs you generate (title and word list) so you can re-download or delete them later.
• Coloring pages you create. If you are signed in, we store the image we generate for you, along with the description you typed and the date, so the page is still there when you come back. You can delete any coloring page from your account, which deletes both the image and the description.
• How much you have generated. We keep a count of the coloring pages you have made, so we can apply the monthly allowance included with PuzzlePages Plus.
• Payment information. Purchases are processed by our payments provider and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage, including page views and general region. This does not identify individual users.
• Cookies. We use cookies necessary for sign-in sessions and for basic analytics. We also show ads on parts of the site, and our advertising provider sets its own cookies; see Advertising below.

How we use information

• To provide the Service, generate your puzzles and coloring pages, and deliver your printables.
• To maintain your account, your saved-pack library, and your coloring pages.
• To apply the monthly coloring allowance included with a subscription.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (via Lemon Squeezy).
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service:

• Clerk - account authentication.
• Lemon Squeezy - payments and subscription billing (merchant of record).
• Vercel - hosting, analytics, and storage of the coloring pages you create.
• Anthropic - AI text generation. The topic or words you submit for a puzzle, and the description you type for a coloring page, are sent to Anthropic’s API: for puzzles, to write the puzzle content; for coloring pages, to tidy the description before it is drawn. Under Anthropic’s API terms this input is not used to train their models.
• fal.ai - AI image generation. The description you type for a coloring page is sent to fal.ai, which draws the image and returns it to us.
• Upstash - storage of your saved packs and your coloring page records.
• Google AdSense - advertising; see below.

We send these providers only what they need to do their job. We do not send them your name, email address, or payment details along with the text you type.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising

We show ads from Google AdSense on parts of the site to keep the free library free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and these may be used to show you personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Ads never appear on the printables themselves.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. More on how Google uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Children’s privacy

PuzzlePages is intended for use by adults - parents, guardians, and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts and purchases are for adults. If you enter a child’s first name to personalize a puzzle or a coloring page, that name is sent to the AI providers listed above in order to draw the printable, and is used for nothing else. It is not used to contact, advertise to, or build a profile of any child. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at benwein25@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep account information, saved packs, and coloring pages while your account is active. You can delete individual packs and coloring pages from your account at any time; deleting a coloring page removes the stored image as well as its record. To delete your account and everything associated with it, contact us at benwein25@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at benwein25@gmail.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Our providers may process and store data in countries other than yours. By using the Service you consent to such transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
